Firearm season: Oct. 29 - Nov. 24, 2012

Maine Residents: Oct. 27, 2012

Archery: Sept. 27 - Oct. 26, 2012

Muzzleloader statewide: Nov. 26 - Dec. 1, 2012

Muzzleloader: WMD’s 12, 13, 15 through 18, 20 through 26, 29:  Dec. 3 through Dec. 8, 2012

Expanded Archery: (desiginated areas only).  Sept. 8 through Dec. 8, 2012 

All Deer hunts will be conducted in the Deer County of Waldo County, Maine.

Weather in Maine can change rapidly, bring warm clothes, rain gear, flashlight, sleeping bag, choice of weapon and personal items. During open firearm season, hunters must wear at least two articles of fluoresent orange clothing (a hat and vest or jacket should suffice).
